Our very latest micro-expedition experience saw a 9 person team tackling the very best challenges that winter-Norway has to offer. Over a long-weekend our team summited Norway’s highest peak; dug snow holes and climbed steep-ice…. Rjukan has a very special history as the home of telemark skiing and the scene of World War 2’s ‘Vemork Heavy Water Raid’. The team retraced the steps of the commando saboteurs and went on to enjoy ‘ice-breaking drills’, back-country skiing and practical avalanche skills… A fantastic experience…. achieved just before Norway closed it’s borders. Huge thanks to Tor Olav Berg and Lars Petter for their outstanding support and guidance.
